Flower Mound High School is a 2010 Grammy Signature School!!
Flower Mound High School has been named a “2010 Grammy Signature School” by the Grammy Foundation, one of only six schools nationally to be recognized thus for its outstanding music programs! This is the third time that FMHS has received national accolades from the Grammy Foundation; we were also recognized in 2005 and 2006. Two items of interest – two of the six Signature Schools are from Texas (Cinco Ranch HS is the other), and two of the six are Arts Magnet Schools. So, we’re one of only four comprehensive public high schools nationally to be so honored.
The award includes a $1000 grant which will be utilized to enhance our multicultural music offerings.
Congratulations to, well, to us!
