Emma Shearer is thrilled to be joining the Flower Mound High School Choir program as the Associate Director of Choral Activities!
Ms. Shearer is a recent graduate of Baylor University, where she majored in Choral Music Education. While at Baylor, she sang in the Baylor A Capella Choir and the Baylor Chamber Singers. In her free time, she loves to read a good book, travel the world, and spend time with family and friends.
An alumni of the FMHS Choir Program, Ms. Shearer is overjoyed to be returning to the place that shaped her love for choir, and inspired her to pursue music education. This past semester, she completed her student teaching in Keller ISD, at both Keller High School and Eagle Ridge Elementary School. Ms. Shearer is excited to help support and continue the long legacy of musical excellence at FMHS and help each of her students grow as musicians and individuals. She is beyond excited to return home to the FloMo Choir family and can’t wait to begin making music together!
